Meet Your Crow FM Station Crew

Sonia McMahon

Sales Team

Presenter - Drive Program (Weekdays 2pm to 6pm)

Sonia brings energy, personality, and a deep connection to the community as the host of Crow FM’s Drive Show. With a passion for engaging storytelling and local content, she’s the driving force behind popular segments like Waa Waa Wednesday and Live and Local. Sonia’s background in sales and community engagement adds to her versatility, making her not just a great voice on air but also a key player in building strong relationships with listeners and sponsors. Whether she’s playing the Burnett’s Best Music Mix or shining a spotlight on local talent, Sonia keeps South Burnett entertained every weekday afternoon.

Ray Clark

Music Producer

Presenter - Breakfast Program (Weekdays 6am-10am)

Ray has been a DJ for most of his working life and started spinning the platters at 17, working as a professional DJ by 18 doing clubs, pubs and weddings. In 1991, Ray got into radio working the night shift at 6KA Karratha in WA’s north. Since then has worked in stations at Bridgetown and Kalgoorlie in WA, Swan Hill Vic, Northern Rivers NSW and South Australia. Ray also did a stint teaching audio production at the Academy Of Radio in Perth.

In 2023 Ray’s wife found the job at Crow FM, so they packed up and came to Wondai, which he states, “is the friendliest place ever”.​​ Now the lead breakfast announcer on CROW FM.

Cam Rub

Sunday Breakfast Show

Cam kicks off Sundays with great tunes, good vibes, and plenty of personality on Crow FM’s Sunday Breakfast Show. Whether it’s classic hits, local stories, or the perfect laid-back soundtrack for the weekend, Cam keeps listeners entertained and informed. With a genuine love for radio and the South Burnett community, he brings a warm and welcoming energy to the airwaves, making Sunday mornings something to look forward to.

Lacey Walker

Presenter

Lacey Likes (Sunday 6pm to 7pm)

Originally from the South Burnett, Lacey Walker studied Writing and English Literature at UQ before returning to the region for its relaxed lifestyle. She works as a social media manager for an international publishing company, does freelance novel editing, and writes for the Frankie magazine blog.

Lacey hosts LACEY LIKES on Sunday nights from 6pm, sharing a themed mix of alternative rock, punk, metal, and indie. She features favourite bands like Slipknot, Green Day, and The Misfits, along with interesting band facts and personal stories behind the music.

Jake Allan

Presenter

The Dust (Friday 7pm-8pm)

Jake joined CROW in 2022 as a volunteer presenter and hosts his own show. All he really wants to do is drink tea and listen to old music. He enjoys the peaceful life while also having a loud night playing drums.

Jake also enjoys that fingerprint style of music where it’s always so unique and unidentifiable.

Rowena Irvine

General Manager

With a strong background in business development, community services, and leadership, Rowena Irvine brings a dynamic and strategic approach to Crow FM 90.7. Her expertise in client relationships, team management, and operational growth ensures the station continues to thrive as the heart of the South Burnett community.

Passionate about fostering local connections and amplifying diverse voices, Rowena is dedicated to strengthening Crow FM’s impact through innovative programming, community engagement, and sustainable growth.

Shaunagh Burrows

Administration

Volunteer

Originally from Brisbane, Shaunagh made the move to the South Burnett in 2022 with her husband, embracing a quieter country lifestyle and an early retirement. With a diverse background in administration, sales, security, and even running her own landscaping and lawnmowing business, Shaunagh brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to everything she does. She enjoys gardening, arts and crafts, travelling, and camping, and began volunteering at Crow FM in 2024. Shaunagh finds her role incredibly rewarding and loves being part of a welcoming and supportive team.

Nicky Watkins

Nicky Watkins has been an integral part of the Crow FM 90.7 team since 2023, generously volunteering her time and talent as our in-house photographer. With a keen eye for detail, Nicky captures the energy and emotion of our LIVE N LOCAL studio sessions, bringing local artists to life through her lens. Beyond the studio, she proudly represents Crow FM at community events and functions, helping to showcase the vibrant spirit of our station. We’re grateful to have Nicky as part of the Crow FM family!

Leanne Dahms

Administration

Volunteer

Leanne Dahms became a valued admin volunteer at Crow FM in April this year, bringing with her a background in aged care and administration. After moving from Brisbane to escape the rat race, she built a home in Tingoora and quickly embraced the welcoming community. Leanne also volunteers at the Kingaroy Information Centre and enjoys card making and growing veggies in her garden during her spare time.
