The Hivesville Progress Association is hosting the Hivesville Honey Bee Festival on Sunday November 1st from 10am – 3pm at the Hivesville Sports Ground.

There’ll be demonstrations, equipment for bee keeping, an art competition, market stalls, Christmas gift ideas, a colouring in competition, live music, food & drink and more!

Sample honey from our region, explore a wide range of local beeswax and bee by-products, and chat with local beekeepers, with plenty of advice for beginner beekeepers!

The event is wheelchair friendly, and entry is just a gold coin donation at the gate. Volunteers are welcome and will receive a complimentary meal voucher for their time.
